The Landscape Committee held a meeting on Saturday, August 11, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at the home of Committee Chairperson Kathryn Cross. The Committee discussed ways to make the mews re-landscaping happen this fall, non-mews landscaping projects and priorities, developing window box guidelines, items from the Watergate “To Do” list that members of the Committee can address, pruning, soaker hoses, and other items of interest to the Committee. On Saturday, June 2, 2007, the Members of the Landscape Committee held a Q&A session to answer homeowners' questions about the nearly finalized plans for re-landscaping the areas affected by the recent Phase I and Phase II garage waterproofing project. This meeting followed the committee's review of the revised project bids that it had received in response to its request for proposals and its follow-on questions to the vendors. Date change for spring pruning: it will
now take place on Tuesday, April 22.
Pruning & planting at the same time?
It's not a problem to have both
activities going on at the same time. In fact, there is little
pruning going on in the areas where Pine Ridge will be working.
